Tonight was brillopad! For tea we had home made pizza (courtesy of dayna) and freshly cut from the allotment spinach salad (courtesy of Emily), washed down by home made elderflower cordial (em) and followed by eton mess made with rasberries from the allotment! Then our neighbour came over for a chat and they gave us carrots and tomato plants to put in the allotment.

Living        the       dream!

Emily is so amazing in the allotment there are the following growing:

Carrots, tomatoes, spinach, potatoes, sweet corn, purple sprouting broccoli, cabbages, 2 types of  lettuce, rasberries, and peas!

all we need now is a cow and a field to grow wheat!

this is annoyingly and yet in the end good that this is true

If you thought lambrinis were a cheap equivelent of wine, tonight at the Holbeck bingo tombola (people from Holbeck go mad over a tombola or a raffle, if I lived here for 20 years i’d have so much rubbish in my house), one of the prizes was Lambrella!! the cheap version of Lambrini, I was pretty sad i didn’t win it

just came back from a week of training at center parcs, I know its a hard life. It was probably one of the best weeks of my life. God was pretty much not hiding, there was a lot of broken chains, revealed truth about God (nothing like a year working for a church to show you how many issues we all have!), freedom and healing. A girl in my cabin’s ecsthma vanished after prayer, and a girl with flat foot; where the bridge of the foot was the same as the rest and so couldnt walk properly is now fine, these are just a couple. Kate who is from the north FP crew is a ledge was a little evangelist for this song. Dont have a baby thats its not rad enough or anything, but i think it is

I’m reading a book called you can change by Tim chester its so full of truth and hope i totally recommend. It had this part of the bible in it and i had a moment where i had to check it was actually from the bible and it is! sorry i can’t quite explain this revelation but I was excited!

so our bath plug hole seems to be an unconventional width and our plugs are too big to fit. emily decided after 2 months of living here to take a potato peeler and attack the current plug to make it small enough. this did not work so i have just made a plug using a potato which works!!!! shes now having a bath, we are hoping the bath wont boil the potato
